DATE  : 9 November 2011
TIME   : 90 minutes

COURSE TITLE  :  CHANCE

LESSON NUMBER  : 1

UNIT  :  1.
2

SPECIFIC TOPIC  :
CHANCE OF AN EVENT

INSTRUCTIONAL GOAL

Student can understand and creative to use rules and formula of chance and can  apply it well.

PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVE
1. Identify what is chance of an event.
2. Understand the meaning of :
              a)      simple events
              b)      sample space
              c)
definition of opportunities
              d)      Range of values the opportunity
3. Know the formula of chance.
4. Understand how to use the formula.
5. Determine the expected frequency of an event.

RATIONALE
  • ·         We can estimate many events, such as weather forecasts and world cup score. In any experiment that contains uncertainty, we need to draw a conclusion. In order to get a appropriate conclusions, we need to understand the theory of chances.
  • ·         Students are expected to apply the theory correctly and appropriate opportunities.

DATE   :
10  November 2011
TIME    : 90 minutes

COURSE TITLE  :
STATISTIC

LESSON NUMBER  :
2

UNIT  :
2.1

SPECIFIC TOPIC :
PRESENTING STATISTIC DATA

INSTRUCTIONAL GOAL
Students can use the rules and the basic formula of statistic and have skilled in collecting, preparing, and presenting a simple data.

PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVE
 1.      Identify what is statistic data.
2.      Understand what is statistic, population, and sample.
3.      Understand what is collecting, rounding, and examination of data.
4.      Understand what is smallest size, biggest size, lower quartile, median, upper quartile.
5.      Understand range of data, and  inter-quartile range.
6.      Know the formula of  statistic
7.      Understand how to use the formula

RATIONALE
  • ·         In the research we perform data collection. These data can be either  numerical data or categorical data.  After data is collected, the data can be processed by using a statistical formula, so the data presented  can  provide meaningful information about the investigated.
  • ·         Students are expected to analyze and present data, so the students can make estimates and conjecture about  possible states of the object  under investigation.Bottom of Form
